Two villagers shot at and injured

Mamit Superintendent of Police Rodingliana Chawngthu said that the injured persons of Kolalian village were admitted to hospital in Kawrthah village.

He said that the violence was triggered allegedly by some villagers of Kolalian, who were stealing paan leaves belonging to the villagers of Thinghlun.

A village leader of Bru-dominated Kolalian village told PTI that residents took out a procession today in protest against the violence.
