According to district officials, the incident took place last evening in the Drabshalla belt of the district when the teenager had gone to a field near her house to dispose of some scrap material.
It was then that the accused, identified as Nitin and Sudershan, allegedly abducted the girl and gangraped her, the officials said, adding that the duo had fled after their act.
After learning of her ordeal, the family members of the girl, accompanied by locals, staged a protest over the matter by blocking the Kishtwar Highway and demanded the arrest of the accused.
Meanwhile, also in Jammu, a case has been registered against Karnal resident Virender Kumar for allegedly raping a girl on the pretext of marriage, officials said. A case has also been registered against Kumar's friend Deepak for allegedly helping him in the crime, they added.
