At least two persons were killed and nine others injured in a head-on collision between a car and a lorry in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district, police said on Saturday.
The accident took place at Dwarsuni Ghat on National Highway-49 under Bangriposhi police station limits on Friday night.
All the victims were travelling in the car to Gupteswar Shiv Temple in Koraput district from Bangriposhi when the lorry hit them.
The injured were initially taken to a hospital in Baripada. Four of them were later shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital at Cuttack, police said.
