2 killed, two injured as part of building collapses

Two persons were killed and as many injured when the balcony of an under-construction house collapsed in Fateh Sagar area in the walled city of Jodhpur this afternoon.
Police have registered a case of negligence against the house owner and the civil contractor.
Meera (42) and Mehardeen (27), both labourers, died in the mishap.
"Meera died on the spot while Mehardeen succumbed to the injuries in a hospital during treatment," said Shankar Lal, Station House Officer of Sadar Kotwali.
Wife of the house owner and another person were injured and admitted to MG Hospital, he said, adding that the construction has been ceased.
