25 persons test positive for swine flu in Lucknow

Three persons residing in Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of medical sciences premises have been tested positive for swine flu, taking the total number of patients affected by H1NI virus to 25 in the state capital, a senior health official said today.
Three persons, namely Dr Sumit Kumar, Sanno Devi, and Pragya Pujari, all residing in Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute (SGPGI) campus, were tested positive for H1N1 yesterday, he said.
A total of 25 swine flu patients have been detected in Lucknow so far, out of which five are admitted in SGPGI, Chief Medical Officer S N S Yadav said.
A retired officer of the Indian Army died of H1N1 virus on January 9, while the wife of a retired jawan died on January 13 in the state capital.
