The annual examination was held in February this year and its results were published in April.
Out of some 18,000 students, who had wished to sit for the Supplementary examination, a little over 16,000 wrote the papers in the examination that were held last month.
Of these only 4563 students cleared the examination successfully, registering a pass percentage of 28.52.
Last year the pass percentage in this particular examination was less than 25.
Soon after declaration of results, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) President D P Nanda informed that the original pass certificates and mark sheets of Supplementary examination would be made available to the pass students at their respective schools by July 20.
