A police team conducted raid and busted the illegal gun factory yesterday, Superintendent of Police, Alok Kumar said today.
Kumar said the owner of the factory Markandey Pandey was arrested.
Apart from three finished country-made pistols, he said half a dozen semi-finished fire-arms, spare parts, machines and other equipment were seized from the spot.
He said Pandey had been sent to jail for similar offences in the past.
