when two groups clashed in village Jahangirabad in Asoha area here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday night when 26-year-old Sandeep was shot dead by some persons over a minor dispute.
Later, an angry mob of villagers caught two persons- Chhotu and Guddu, allegedly involved in the murder and lynched them.
Meanwhile, police reached the spot and controlled the situation.
Heavy police force has been deployed in the village to check any untoward incident, they said.
