During the patrolling last night, a police team spotted three youths moving suspiciously near Government Middle School. The team surrounded the youths and took them into custody, a senior police officer said.
"Those arrested have been identified as Beenu Munda, Dheva Munda alias Divar Munda and Jado Munda," a police spokesperson said.
"A loaded country-made pistol and three live rounds of cartridge were found in their possession apart from posters and banners bearing the name of CPI(Maoist)," he added.
Beenu also admitted to having links with the naxal group.
All three have been forwarded to judicial custody after a case was registered against them under various sections of Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, the officer added.
