3 policemen killed in IED blast in Pak

At least three police personnel were killed and two injured when their vehicle was hit by an improvised explosive device in northwest Pakistan today, police said.

The incident occurred on Kolachi road in Dera Ismael Khan district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, bordering South Waziristan Agency when police personnel were on a routine patroling duty this evening.

District Police Officer, Zahidullah remained unhurt in the blast, they said, adding that the injured were rushed to a hospital.
