Twenty five boxes were recovered from a car and five from a multi utility vehicle coming from Punjab on Sunday, a spokesperson of the District Election Office, Sirsa, said.
The accused have been identified as Vakeel Singh, resident of Dadu, and Hetram of Bathinda.
A case under the Excise Act has been registered against the offenders under Kalanwali in police station.
Various teams, including the flying squad and static surveillance, have been formed to ensure free and fair elections in the district, the spokesperson said, adding that these teams are closely monitoring the urban and rural areas.
