Welcoming them into the party fold at a function at Oulgaret, the constituency he represents, Local Administration Minister N G Panneerselvam claimed the government had evolved and implemented several schemes for welfare of the poor and for the betterment of the youth.
The minister said several 'pioneering' projects were in force in the Union Territory now. He called upon the youth to make use of schemes meant for their progress in education and also augmentation of skill.
