Ravindra Thackeray was arrested last night after he attacked his mother-in-law Jaidu Babu Pardhi (55) with a huge stone in a fit of rage under the influence of liquor, Police Inspector AP Fegde of Wangaon police station said.
The drunk accused quarreled with the woman and hit her with stones, leaving her dead on the spot.
The arrested accused has been charged under section 302 (murder) of the IPC after his wife lodged a complaint, he said.
