Six people have gone missing in China after a fishing boat collided with an oil tanker in the country's eastern Zhejiang Province, maritime authorities said today.
The Taizhou City maritime rescue center said they received report of the Greek oil tanker Australis hitting a Zhejiang fishing boat off the coast of Taizhou late yesterday.
Six people on board the fishing boat fell overboard and are missing since then.
A rescue operation is being hampered by strong winds, the center said.
The cause of the collision is being investigated, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
