7 health department employees suspended in Rajouri

Seven employees of the Health Department have been suspended whereas explanation has been sought from four others for unauthorised absence from office in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
During a surprise check conducted by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at the Community Health Centre yesterday, 11 employees, including a doctor, were found absent unauthorisedly from their duty in Thanamandi area in the district, an official spokesman said here today.
Following this, seven employees were placed under suspension, and the Block Medical Officer (BMO) Thanamandi was directed to seek explanation of other four employees, the official added.
