7 teachers suspended for absenteeism in J-K

The decision was taken following a surprise visit by Chief Education Officer L N Bhat to various schools in Paddar, Inderwal, Nagsani and Drabshalla areas of Kishtwar district yesterday.

During the inspection, seven teachers were found absent from duty, an education department official said.
