In a statement released here, the ministry said these 83 channels had an aggregate reserve price of about Rs 395 crore.
The ministry said that e-auctions re-commenced today and during the day, four rounds of bidding took place. Till now, 28 rounds of bidding are over.
The ministry also said that the summation of provisional winning prices exceeded the total reserve price of the first batch by about Rs 277.05 crore or 50.35 per cent. Rs 550.18 crore is the total reserve price of the first batch, it said.
Bidding will re-commence tomorrow, the ministry said.
