Abhilash Bhardwaj takes over as AERB Chairman

Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) today said Abhilash Bhardwaj has taken over as its new Chairman.
"Bhardwaj has taken charge as the new Chairman of AERB from today," AERB said in a statement.
He has taken over the reins of the new office from Satinder Singh Bajaj, who was heading the Board since 2010.
Prior to this, Bhardwaj, a post graduate in mechanical engineering has served in the Department of Atomic Energy and Nuclear Power Corporation of India.
"Bhardwaj has been closely associated with many high level committees of AERB in the past and played a leading role in formulating many safety regulations," the statement said.
