Activists of the ABVP met Home Minister Rajnath Singh and MoS, Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, and submitted a memorandum and also demanded the Centre organise public hearings to collect evidence and complaints against "political violence" committed by members of the left party in the state.
"The linkage, complicity and assistance provided by the CPI (M) to Islamic extremist as well as jihadi terrorist, especially ISIS, be investigated and required actions taken," the memorandum read.
The ABVP made the demands two days before its awareness rally - Chalo Kerala - scheduled to be held in the state capital Thiruvananthapuram on November 11.
"An enquiry commission should be constituted to unravel the communist terrorism in Kerala. It should organise public hearings to document the pain of ordinary masses of Kerala as well as invite public to submit evidences and complaints regarding communist violence on nationalist activists," they demanded.
The activists of RSS-BJP and the CPI(M) have been allegedly targeting each other in the state with Kannur being the epicentre.
Two months ago, the RSS also had demanded a judicial probe into the "political killings" of its workers in Kerala, alleging that CPI(M) cadre were involved in the violence which was aimed at checking its expanding base in the state.
