AC blast in BHU, PM enquires about injured

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today enquired about the condition of 12 people who were injured as a result of AC compressor pipe blast in Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and announced financial relief to four of them.
The four injured are admitted at the trauma centre of BHU while eight people are being treated in the emergency, an official statement said here.
The injured persons are out of danger, it said.
The Prime minister wished all the injured a speed recovery, the statement said.
The blast took place in the air-conditioning ducts at theemergency ward of Sir Sunder Lal Hospital at BHU in Varanasi, the Lok Sabha constituency of the Prime Minister.
Due to the blast, the false ceiling came down and window panes broke.
