The 20-year-old, who had clinched gold medals in 2011 Remensco Junior International in Russia and Asian Sub-Junior championship in Japan, saw off Pratul 21-19 21-10 in a 36-minute clash.
The Dhar lad will next take on Thailand's Kantaphon Wangcharoen at Nimibutur Stadium.
Aditya, who had lost to Pratul at Bahrain International last year, fought back from 0-3 down to open up a 7-3 advantage in the opening game.
In the second, Aditya moved to a 4-1 lead and despite Pratul clawing back and leading 6-5, the 20-year-old zoomed ahead with giant steps to win the game and the match without much ado.
