AIADMK ward councillor hacked to death

An AIADMK ward councillor was allegedly hacked to death by two persons here tonight, police said.
Vijayaraghavan (42), councillor of 51st ward, was sitting in his friend's shop when two persons came there, attacked him with sickles and knives and fled the spot, they said.
He was rushed to a private hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.
Police said the motive for the murder was unclear.
