Gajendra Singh, resident of Phulera near Jaipur, hanged himself yesterday, police said.
He was rushed to MDM hospital where he died during treatment, they said.
Police have found a suicide note in which Singh expressed his inability to cope with medical education.
"I am not fit for the course and not worth living," the note said.
Singh was studying in first year of MBBS.
