The statement that the recommendations of the Committee headed by former Supreme Court judge, Justice D M Dharmadhikari was made during the hearing of a matter relating to training of pilots for Dreamliner Boeings by Air India.
Air India (AI) had filed an appeal against an order of a single judge bench staying further trainings of pilots, affiliated to Indian Pilots Guild (IPG) of AI, till implementation of Justice Dharmadhikari panel recommendations.
The counsel for AI told a bench headed by Acting Chief Justice A K Sikri that the recommendations of the committee, dealing with various issues including parity in training and career progression of pilots, are being implemented. (more)
