Ancient silver coins recovered in Jharkhand

Altogether 20 silver coins belonging to ancient times were found during digging at an old house at Baramuri under Sadar area here, police said today.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar said the coins were found when the base of local landlord Prem Gope's house was being dug for renovation work.
The inscription on the coins were yet to be deciphered and the Archaeological Survey of India has been informed about the coins, the DSP said.
