Another question paper of School of Open Learning exam leaked

The question paper on Corporate Laws for Delhi University's School of Open Learning examination was allegedly leaked today on internet messaging application Whatsapp for the fifth consecutive day, following which three persons were arrested in this connection.
"Three persons were today caught by the flying squad while they were circulating the question paper for Corporate laws on whatsapp at the examination centre at a school in Shastri Nagar," said Satish Kumar, OSD, Examinations.
"Yesterday too, three persons were caught at the same centre circulating the question paper for Cost Accounting subject. Taking cognizance of the same, we decided to approach the police," he added.

Police said that three persons have been arrested while one of them managed to flee.
"We have arrested three youths and efforts are on to nab the fourth accused. A case has been registered and we are trying to ascertain the source of the leak," DCP North Madhur Verma said.
"The arrested students have been identified as Deepak Verma, Mohit Sharma and Mohit Bhandari. They were found in possession of advance copy of question paper along with solutions in the WhatsApp application of their mobile phones" he added.

Last week, the question papers for English, Economics and Financial Management were reportedly leaked in the same manner.

However, the college authorities had then dismissed the reports as "rumours" claiming there is a strict mechanism in place to keep a check on such incidents.
Chairperson of the Campus of Open Learning and governing body of SOL, C S Dubey had earlier ruled out it to be a case of leak saying the paper could have been circulated on WhatsApp after the examination started.
Dubey today said that the matter will be throughly investigated.
"The matter is being investigated how the question papers could be circulated in this manner. Also, how the students managed to carry mobile phones inside the examination centre is being probed," he said.

Asked whether the varsity will be conducting a re-examination to be fair to other students, Satish said the DU authorities will take a call on it.
