BJP leaders claimed they had got reliable information that many Youth Congress activists had sneaked into the city to disrupt the ex-servicemen's rally here on September 15, where party's Prime Ministerial nominee Narendra Modi would deliver speech.
A BJP delegation, led by party state unit chief Rama Bilas Sharma and national spokesman Capt Abhimanyu, met SP Pankaj Nain to apprise him of the situation.
"The local administration in general and police in particular would be held responsible for any untoward incident," the leaders said, demanding strong action against anti-social elements.
