Scuffle between doctors and relatives over patient's death

A scuffle broke out between resident doctors and relatives of a patient who died at PBM government hospital here today.
The relatives of Ramswaroop Upadhyay (50) alleged that doctors did not attend to him on time and the delay led to his death.
Heated arguments between doctors and angry relatives of the patient turned into a scuffle, police said.
Upadhyay was taken to the hospital's emergency unit following some stomach related ailments, but his relatives alleged that he was not attended to on time despite repeated requests.
"The situation was brought under control and policemen were posted to prevent any further flare-ups," police said, adding no arrest was made in this connection.
