Anurag Thakur and Shanta Kumar grieve over HP fire incident

BJP leaders Anurag Thakur and Shanta Kumar today expressed grief over the fire incident that took place in Tangnu village in Rohroo area, with the latter releasing a sum of Rs 25 lakh to help the affected families.
The incident that took place on late Saturday night rendered around 216 persons homeless and over a dozen cattle dead.
The fire took place in village Tangnu in Chirgaon tehsil of Rohroo, 140 kms from Shimla.
Thakur, MP from Hamirpur said, "This is an extremely unfortunate incident that has destroyed almost the entire village. The people were already fighting the cold waves and heavy snowfall, which had left them with no electricity and water supply.

"This massive fire breakout has now rendered people without a shelter in this severe cold weather. I would urge the government to provide the required and adequate support to the families to bear the loss caused due to fire.
