Interacting with a gathering of industrialists from over two dozen countries, Naidu said after assuming office as Chief Minister, his government had cleared Rs 2,100 crore towards various industrial subsidies during the last 10 months with an objective of boosting investments even though his government was facing a tough financial situation.
Besides PepsiCo, he inaugurated eight other manufacturing units including that of HunterDouglas, Artura, ZTT, West Pharma at Sri City.
Before participating in the industrial development programme, Naidu, accompanied by Indra Nooyi, Chairman and CEO, PepsiCo, offered prayers at the Lord Venkateswara temple near here this morning.
