AP govt announces Rs 5 lakh reward for Santoshi Matsa

Andhra Pradesh government today announced a cash reward of Rs five lakh to Matsa Santoshi, who won bronze medal in weightlifting in the Commonwealth Games.
The announcement was made on the directions of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, an official release said here quoting state Sports Minister K Atchannaidu.
Santoshi, who hails from Vizianagaram district, won bronze medal in the 53 kg category in weightlifting.
