"No representative of either Uttar Pradesh government or the Centre have met the family members of Babulal and no compensation has been given so far," party national secretary Anupriya Patel said after meeting the kin of CRPF personnel.

She demanded that "impartial" treatment should be given by the governments to soldiers, whether they were killed at the border or in naxal attack.

"I demand a financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh from the state and Rs 50 lakh from the centre and job for the dependent," she said.

The party also extended a financial assistance of Rs 51,000 to the kin of Babulal.
