"Our government has decided to allot a free residential plot to Deepika Kumari, who has brought laurels to the state in archery," Chief Minister Hemant Soren said here.
Deepika's parents Gita Devi and Shiv Narain Mahato had on November one said that they were unable to decide whether to renovate their house at Ratuchatti on the outskirts of Ranchi or wait till a plot was allotted.
Preparation of rules and regulations for it were in the final stage, he added.
