The 30-year-old "Ki & Ka" star and Dhoni played rivals in a recent match of football for a charity, but for Arjun sharing the field with the cricketer was more important than the competition between them.
"Fanboy moment on field with @mahi7781 I don't think I've smiled so much in a while...Great game great cause great fun...," the actor tweeted.
Fans witnessed an exciting battle between India's Test skipper Virat Kohli-led cricket stars and Abhishek Bachchan-fronted Bollywood celebrities in the match, held on June 4.
Bachchan didn't play in the match due to back injury and his team was led by Ranbir Kapoor. The match resulted in a tie.
