In this regard, the minister cited schemes like Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY), Soil Health Card scheme and Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana as part of the directions by the Commission.
Saini was speaking at a regional media workshop, an event organised by Press Information Bureau (PIB).
Most of the people raising voice for the implementation of M S Swaminathan Commission recommendations actually do not know about the report, the state agriculture minister said while claiming that 80 per cent recommendations by the Commission have been implemented.
Terming the GST as the biggest vision in economic reforms in the country, Saini said people in the country would earlier speak of 'black money' but now they speak of Jan Dhan Yojana and now they will discuss GST as it is the biggest vision in economic reforms.
The minister also called upon media to spread awareness about the welfare schemes of the government among the people and to examine if benefits of the same are reaching to people.
