An exhibition titled "The Essence of Woman" bringing together two artists with different stylistic approach, marks the innagural show of the Artfairie Gallery, which opened here recently to coincide with International Woman's Day.
Artist Vibha Singh, who has been painting for over 20 years and has held numerous shows in India and abroad believes in going by the rule book when it comes to painting.
Vibha who usually paints in oil colours turned to arcylics for the show.
"Acrylics is a bit difficult medium to use in beginning, but once you get the hold it is easy to use and the colour gives vibrancy to the painting," she said.
Vibha, who holds a masters in political science says she draws inspiration from real life.
While Vibha looks at nature and the outside as her muse the other artist Srividya GS looks within," says Annie Mathai, who has curated the exhibtion.
