Assistant in Registrar office caught taking bribe

A junior assistant working in District Registrar office in Vijayawada of Andhra Pradesh was trapped by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegdly taking bribe of Rs 16,000.
A Vasudeva Rao was caught red-handed by ACB officials while taking bribe of Rs 16,000 from a complainant for doing an official favour yesterday, an ACB release said here today.
The bribe amount was recovered from the accused and case is under investigation.
