Bata India ties up with mobile payments providers

Shoemaker Bata India has tied up mobile payments firms Paytm and Freecharge in a bid to help its customers deal with the cash crunch they are facing after ban on old Rs 500/1000 notes.
Commenting on the development Rajeev Gopalakrishnan (President, South Asia, Bata said:" We are trying to make our consumers' money work harder by announcing special purchase offers and also expanding our payment options to include PayTM and Freecharge to enable our customers to go cashless at our stores".

Vodafone partners Google Cloud
* Vodafone Business Services (VBS), the enterprise arm of Vodafone India, has tied up with Google Cloud to offer G Suite - a set of productivity, communication and collaboration applications.
The solution, to be available on a pay-as-you-go model, will allow enterprises access to apps like Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, and Hangouts.
Vodafone will support enterprises from on-boarding and activation right up to migration and service support through a dedicated Cloud Support Team, it said in a statement.
