Bharathiar University extends MOU with city hospital

City based Bharathiar University has extended by five years, the MoU signed with G Kuppusamy Naidu Memorial Hospital here to conduct M.Sc (Medical Physics) programme.
During the last 12 years of successful collaboration, 90 per cent of the total 151 candidates were selected at leading hospitals and institutions across the country while five per cent were pursuing research at various cancer institutions, a University release said today.
About 80 per cent of the students pursuing MS/Ph.D in foreign Countries have cleared the Radiological Safety Officer (RSO) examination conducted by the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB), Mumbai, it said.
