The event will be hosted by Bhutan Nuns Foundation from December 14 to 16 in Paro, at a distance of 50 km from capital Thimphu.
The conference is dedicated to provide platform to discuss roles and responsibilities of nuns in the post-modern world through exchange of ideas and best practices around the world to empower them, according to the foundation.
The programme is aimed to increase their informed and active participation in both their religious and civic life, it said.
Noted Tibetan Buddhist nun Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo will also attend the conference.
