Presiding over the review meeting about preparations for the Haj pilgrimage, the Minority Welfare Affair Minister Naushad Alam directed officials of various departments to complete preparations for the visit of 6667 people from Bihar to Mecca (Saudi Arabia) later this month, the release said.
The Principal Secretary (Minority Welfare) Amir Subhani also spoke on the occasion and said that the Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi will himself preside over a review meeting to be held at Gaya district collectorate on August 11 for arrangements for visit of the Haj pilgrims from Bihar.
Subhani directed officials of various departments and agencies to complete all arrangements for the Haj pilgrimage, including security, hospitality and transportation of the pilgrims prior to their scheduled departure for Saudi Arabia.
