Bishnoi to decide on HJC-BJP tie-up if not invited to PM event

Still awaiting an invitation to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi's function at Kaithal, Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) supremo Kuldeep Bishnoi today said if not invited his party will take a final call on keeping the alliance with BJP tomorrow.
"If I am not invited by BJP for Modi's function tomorrow, the core committee meeting of the HJC will take a final call on continuation of coalition with the saffron party tomorrow," Bishnoi said.
Asserting that his party had always given due respect to BJP leaders at the national and state level, a miffed Bishnoi said, "the BJP has not bothered to invite me to a single rally held by big leaders in the state."

"In the past, BJP did not invite me officially or unofficially to any rally," he said in a statement in which he also claimed that he was not given any invitation to attend the recent rallies of BJP's party president Amit Shah at Mahendergarh and Jind.
Modi will be at Kaithal tomorrow to lay the foundation stone for the modernisation of Ambala-Hisar National Higway.
Haryana BJP President Ram Bilas Sharma along with Union Minister of State Krishan Pal Gujjar had close-door meeting today with party leaders in connection with Modi's function.

A tussle is going on between allies BJP and HJC in poll-bound Haryana. Yesterday, Bishnoi had charged the BJP with violating the coalition dharma.

Bishnoi, younger son of late Chief Minister Bhajan Lal, had been adamant that under an agreement in 2011 between BJP and HJC, the two parties were to fight 45 seats each and he would be the Chief Minister for the first 30 months.
However, Shah had recently asked HJC not to remain so adamant on alliance terms, saying the party has to keep in mind people's aspirations after the changed scenario post the Lok Sabha polls.
Cracks have surfaced in the BJP-HJC alliance in Haryana after the Lok Sabha polls, with demands from certain sections in BJP's state unit to either rework the tie-up or go it alone in Assembly elections.

The BJP fought recent Lok Sabha polls on eight seats in Haryana and its ally HJC two of the total ten seats. BJP won seven while the HJC lost both of its seats.
Bishnoi too lost from his traditional Hisar seat to young Indian National Lok Dal turk Dushyant Chautala.
