The Muzaffarpur district administration has deliberately alloted a small venue at the police line housing maidan with a capacity of only 15,000-20,000 people for Modi's meet at the behest of the Chief Minister, BJP state unit chief Mangal Pandey alleged in a statement.
BJP had demanded both, training and residential parts, of the police line ground for the meeting to accommodate large number of people expected to turn up, but regrettably the district administration has allotted only the residential part of the venue, he said.
BJP claimed that there could be law and order problems at Modi's second rally in Bihar next month as over one lakh people, who expected to turn up for the meet, will jostle for space, jeopardising Gujarat Chief Minister's life.
The party warned the state government, saying that the Bihar Chief Minister will be squarely responsible if something untoward happened.
The JD(U) and BJP had traded barbs over security arrangements at Modi's rally in Patna.
