BJP misusing election machinery: Chavan

Accusing the BJP of "misusing" theelection machinery, Maharashtra Congress president Ashok Chavan today said the booth level activists of his party would defeat "paid workers" of the BJP in upcoming polls.

"The BJP is misusingelection machinery. At every booth, the BJP has hired paid workers, but the Congress will fight theseelements," he said addressing a meeting of coordinators of booth committees of all 288 assembly seats.

Chavan said the Congresswould appoint ten workers at each booth.
