"Though ideologically we differ, we are old friends from college days and participated in the Jaya Prakash Narayan movement. I am attending his swearing-in tomorrow in Patna," Roy told PTI.
He was replying when asked how he would find himself in the company of anti-NDA leaders at the ceremony, particularly RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, against whom he had been one of the petitioners in the fodder scam case.
"Even I went to meet Lalu Prasad when he was in the jail following his conviction in the fodder scam as I felt that it was my duty to call on him," Roy said adding there was nothing personal against him.
