The BJP would raise the issue of corruption during the five day winter session of the Himachal Pradesh assembly which will commence from November 30 at Dharamsala.
Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Prem Kumar Dhumal said here today that "BJP would grill the ruling party on the issue of corruption and would also raise other issues of public interest during the brief session."
"The issue of corruption, development, rising prices, unemployment would dominate the session," Dhumal who is also Leader of Opposition told reports here.
Dismissing the allegations of the ruling party that the Centre was discriminating against the state as ridiculous, Dhumal said that if the allegation are correct, the government should issue a "white paper" to clear the position.
He clarified that the special category status of the state had been restored and as such the state would be getting more than adequate funds for development.
Dhumal said party workers would gherao the state assembly and organise a massive rally at Tapovan in Dharamsala on December 2.
All senior leaders of the party including its legislators would address the rally and expose the acts of Commission and Omission of the government, he said.
Dhumal termed his recent meeting with Chief Minister VB Singh as a routine meeting ahead of assembly session.
