Black Sabbath has officially called it quits after almost half a century.
The English rock band took to Facebook to announce the news.
Captioned as "#TheEnd", a black poster embossed in bold purple read, "Black Sabbath: 1968-2017."
Last month, Black Sabbath played their final-ever gig together, as declared by them, in their hometown of Birmingham.
The group jammed for 49 years together, which included singer Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler and Tommy Clufetos replacing original drummer Bill Ward in their final tour.
They have 19 studio albums to their credit with chartbusters like "Behind the Wall of Sleep", "Iron Man", "Paranoid" and "War Pigs", among others.
