The body was recovered from a jungle near Bhola Road in Pathanpura area yesterday, S K Rana, in-charge of Kankerkhera Police station said, adding that marks of car tyre were found in the vicinity.
There were marks on the neck of the victim indicating that the girl was choked to death with a rope, he said, adding that rape has been ruled out.
The body has been sent for post mortem, thus the real cause of death is awaited, Rana said.
