The body of the woman, who was married three months ago, was found after breaking the door of the room.
While her family members have alleged that she was killed by her in-laws demanding dowry and one of her aunts lodged an FIR, her husband, who has been detained, said the woman had committed suicide, the police said.
The woman's in-laws were allegedly torturing her to bring dowry of Rs 5 lakh to set up a mobile phone shop, which she declined, the FIR alleged.
