A press release issued by Manipur Police said during investigation the 48-year-old man was found involved in running a bomb factory at his residence at Yurembam Mayai Leikai and was involved in several bomb attacks in the recent past.
The security forces seized 27 gelatine sticks, detonators, a moped and some other articlesfrom his possession, said the release.
Meanwhile, a joint team of Manipur police commandos and troops of 6 Assam Rifles arrested an active member of RPF/PLA last night/
The release said he was nabbed from Keirao Wangkhem in Imphal East district and is involved in extortion-related activities.
